Research & Plan

Since 2001, TradeStone had been a global leader in retail PLM software. With companies like Amazon changing consumer shopping behaviors, TradeStone’s leadership believed that it was time for a revolution in their industry and for their company. They realized that the old way of working, the old tools, and even the old company and its suite of individual offerings would no longer be enough for brands to stay competitive in this new world.

Concept & Test

Through multiple work sessions, competitive analysis, prototyping and facilitated research, altr worked with leadership and the company’s customers to create a new vision for TradeStone, a new name, a new brand and a new product strategy to better serve “the New Retail Economy.”

Design & Deliver

For the launch of the reimagined company, altr worked with the CEO as the de facto marketing team to completely rebrand the company as Bamboo Rose. This involved everything from product strategy, brand development, messaging architecture, marketing and sales planning and execution, content development, site design, development and deployment. With a new brand and new sales and marketing strategy, Bamboo Rose’s growth accelerated and the company closed its first round of funding.

An overwhelming response from employees, customers, and prospects on the brand and website.
